Hello and Welcome to the Welsh Gaming Network!
The Welsh Gaming Network went live on the 1st of March 2016. Our main focus is on building a gaming community in Wales, promoting gaming content, streamers, organisations, eSports and game development in Wales. We will also try and keep you up to date on some of the Gaming and Geeky news happening around the world that we think is worth mentioning!
In 2018 we expanded to include tabletop and card games and hope to encourage gamers of all types to come together and help create a sustainable industry and community across Wales.

The Welsh Gaming Network is all about bringing people, organisations and content together to give you a place to to meet fellow gamers, find new events and organisations and a place to share your thoughts with others. The gaming industry has increased massively over the last 10 years and we’re really excited about bringing a Welsh gaming website to you, focusing on local businesses and real people you can connect with.
We arrange meet ups and events, as well as gaming and community nights. With over 700 Discord members and 3000 social media followers, I’m sure you’ll find someone to connect with.
If you think this is the right place for you, then why not pop along to our Discord and say Hi. There will be some friendly gamers waiting to greet you and make you feel welcome.
You can meet the Staff & Mod Team, and view the WGN Stream Team as well.
If you’ve got questions about the site then feel free to contact us via our contact us page, or you can drop us a message on one of social media outlets – Twitter, Discord, or Steam
Thanks for reading and enjoy the Welsh Gaming Network!
Hi We’re looking for professional game designers and programmers – companies by preference if any still thrive locally – to work with college students and lecturers who are keen to learn all they can about the industry – the skills needed – opportunities from Merthyr to Usk – Bridgend to Cardiff and Newport. We can even help with a little sweetener for full engagement… Any advice? Thanks
