What is your Twitch name and what is the origin story of the name?
Name: FinneyTV Origin: Long ago I was trekking through a woods when a stumbled upon a great wizard. We battled for 17 hours before he finally admitted defeat and I took his title, Finney… Real Origin: Merged my surname with TV as I create live video content.
What age did you start playing games and what’s the first game you remember playing?
~8 years old – GTA London (yes my parents were that bad)
What’s your all time favorite game?
Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
How long have you been streaming on Twitch and what made you decide to pursue streaming?
I’ve been streaming now for just over a year. I’m a very social person, and enjoy meeting new people, as I spent a lot of time playing games anyway I decided to stream them too.
What is your favourite game to stream and which game do you think your fans enjoy seeing you play the most?
My favorite game to stream is Quiplash, however my fans enjoy seeing me stream GTA Races and H1Z1 more.
What is a typical stream day like for you?
I tend to stream a 2-3 hours over 3 weekdays, and 6-8 hours on the weekends. *I’ve not streamed for around 4 months so I’m still restructuring my new schedule*
What is your favourite part about streaming?
I enjoy the social aspect, meeting new people, getting help from other players, and also support other streamers.
What do you like to do when you aren’t streaming?
Aside from gaming my other passions as politics and clay pigeon shooting.
Can you give any advice to anyone looking to start streaming?
Just be yourself, don’t fake your personality/reactions as you won’t enjoy streaming.
