What is your Twitch name and what is the origin story of the name?

My Twitch name is TheGrumpyWelshMan. I chose it because it suits me perfectly.

What age did you start playing games and what’s the first game you remember playing?

Not sure of the exact age but I know it was very young. First game that comes to mind is either Super Mario Land 4 or Metroid 2 for the Gameboy.

What’s your all time favorite game?

Beyond Good and Evil.

How long have you been streaming on Twitch and what made you decide to pursue streaming?

I’ve been streaming on and off for about 5 years. I got into streaming after getting to know a few people who did it and thought it seemed like fun.

What is your favourite game to stream and which game do you think your fans enjoy seeing you play the most?

My favourite game to stream would be Elder Scrolls Online because it has so many different things you can do. As for what most people would enjoy seeing me play I think DOOM would be high in the list.

What is a typical stream day like for you?

Choosing a random game from my steam list, setting up shadowplay and starting the stream. Hopefully I’d get some viewers who haven’t been in my stream before.

What is your favourite part about streaming?

Definitely interacting with the chat. It’s always interesting hearing about viewers experiences in various games, and I love learning about random facts people know.

What do you like to do when you aren’t streaming?

I practically live in work although that’s what it feels like haha. But I like to go out on my bike and have a crack on the MTB trails, spend time with family and I actually do game when i’m not live to.

Can you give any advice to anyone looking to start streaming?

Don’t give up. You will get days where you will get no viewers when you start. Don’t let that dishearten you into giving up. The more you put into streaming, the more you’ll get out of it as long as you keep at it.
