Becoming an Official Streamer

All of our official streamers are hosted by the Welsh Gaming Network Twitch account. Drop us a follow and stay tuned for some awesome Welsh content!

Check out our current WGN Stream Team members, and don’t forget to give them all a bit of genuine Welsh love with a follow.

Why do it? Well becoming an Official Streamer will mean that:

• We will add you to our Twitch hosting account on https://www.twitch.tv/welshgamingnetwork
• We will add you to our WGN Stream Team page allowing our members to easily follow you on Twitch & Social Media.
• We will add your twitch account to our discord bot to automatically post on discord when you stream.
• We will add your twitter account (if you have one) to the official streamers group which will allow the Welsh Gaming Twitter account to automatically retweet your stream related tweets.
• We will create a website post in the official streamers area advertising your stream.
• We randomly create raids to bring new traffic in to your stream.
• You’ll be part of a great community that’s ready to enjoy and share your content.
• You’ll get the help of our writing team if you’d like to host any written content, including proofreading and editing if required.
• You’ll get the help of our graphics team to create graphics for your stream and social media.

So you want to become an official Welsh Gaming Network streamer? This is what you need to do:

• Be aware and willing to follow the Community Rules.
• Looking to build up your streaming presence and engage with your followers and the community.
• Be living or born in Wales.
• Join our discord channel so you get to meet everyone.
• Join our steam group (if you have steam).
• Follow us on twitter.
• Be an active member for over 2 weeks.
• Be willing to include the WGN graphic or website on your Twitch page showing you’re part of the network.
• Consider hosting other members of the WGN when you’re offline.
• Contact a staff member on Discord for the official application form.

If you’re not ready to become an Official Streamer but would still like to share content, you are more than welcome to join the Discord and post any of your personal content in our #members-content channel, or tweet our twitter page @welshgamingnet for a like or a retweet!
