This is why Tetris 99 for Nintendo Switch is this years BEST “Battle Royale” game – Having released less than a month ago, already has its first special online competition from 8th of March 2019 at 1pm til 6.59am on 11th of March.
The rules are, if you come first, you’ll be entered into a draw to win 999 Gold Points, which is Nintendo currency worth £9.99 in the Nintendo eShop.
There will be 999 winners, so good luck everyone! Tetris 99 is free on Nintendo Switch, although you do need a Nintendo Online subscription so I guess technically its not free.
I can’t stand battle royale games in general, but Tetris 99 brings the nostalgia and satisfying feelings into one emotional rollercoaster making this my game of choice when I want to knock out 98-99 other people in competitive gameplay.
