WGN Officially partner with VPG, La Masia eSports & VPG Wales 

Welsh Gaming Network is proud to announce a partnership with VPG Wales and La Masia eSports to compete with Virtual Pro Gaming & Fifa Pro Clubs under the name WGN Pro Clubs,

Andrew Chapman & Dan Savage will be taking the lead on this one, and will become our official Esports Team Captains for Fifa so congratulations and welcome to the Welsh Gaming Network family!

What is Fifa Pro Clubs?
Pro Clubs is an online mode in Fifa that allows you to create a Virtual Pro Player and play your position on the pitch with teammates in a true representation of online football. Your Virtual Pro will grow in attributes based on your match rating and also earn skill points to spend on traits with the more matches you play. Play drop in matches join/create a club and fight for points with your club. Climb your way up from Division 10 to the heights of football – Division 1.

What is Virtual Pro Gaming?
VPG is home to thousands of teams and over a hundred thousand eager Pro Clubs gamers who breathe, live and player Virtual Football. Our players sign in every day and compete for the coveted VPG trophies and individual player awards in highly-organised teams who train frequently for online matches. This fosters lively rivalries that echo their real-life counterparts.

One of the unique benefits of joining VPG is that our league involves 11v11 matches on Fifa Pro Clubs. This is far more favourable than standard 1v1 Fifa Leagues because significantly more players are involved in each match. Your players would share their participation with their friends, which in turn boosts your social network massively and most importantly increases fan engagement.

Global eSports revenue is forecast to reach over £680 million in 2018, and with the global audience to increase to 380.2 million. Featuring a team in VPG will give you a head start in tapping into this market. Andrew & Dan have built an incredibly strong squad over the past 2 seasons that has brought them great success. The squad consisting of numerous nationalities – Welsh, English, Irish, Scottish, Danish, French, Dutch and Mexican. Combined the squad has earned a total of 47 titles throughout this edition of Fifa and with one season remaining, aim to take that tally to 49 with the addition of the League Title and the Cup.

VPG Wales

Andrew & Dan have been a part of the Wales setup for the past 3 international tournaments, VPG World Cup 2017, ITFA European Cup and VPG World Cup 2018.
VPG World Cup 2017 – Wales reach the final, only to fall short with a narrow 2-1 loss in the final to the USA – This placed Wales in the limelight for international competitive Fifa as Wales did what no one expected them to do.
ITFA European Cup – Although not as successful as the VPG World Cup 2017, Wales fell to the hands of Denmark in the Round of 16, who are widely regarded as the best Fifa Pro Clubs team in the world.
VPG World Cup 2018 – Currently still ongoing, Wales successfully topped their group unbeaten with 12 points. Now in the Round of 16, Wales once again face Denmark.
